Q1. What is the purpose of the addition of BCP in the protocol of TOOLS Bacterial and Fungal DNA Extraction Kit?
A: The purpose of BCP is to help the extraction of nucleic acid by separating the aqueous phase and organic phase more clearly to avoid contamination of organic solvents
Q2. TOOLS Bacterial and Fungal DNA and RNA Extraction Kit can be used to extract bacteria from whole blood/plasma?
A: Do not to use whole blood/plasma as sample. Please use purified bacterial sample isolated from whole blood/plasma for DNA extraction with TX-BFT01.
Q3. TOOLS Bacterial and Fungal DNAand RNA Extraction Kit products can be used for NGS?
A: TX-BFT01 product can be used for Sanger and illumina sequencing; Nanopore is not recommended.
